Thanks to the successful cooperation between the Association “Education Builds Bosnia and Herzegovina – Jovan Divjak,” the German organization “Aktion – Leben und Lernen in Bosnien,” and the international platform “Labdoo,” a donation of laptops and tablets has been made to three schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During a recent visit of the Association’s executive staff to Germany, a representative of the partner organization “Aktion – Leben und Lernen in Bosnien” expressed interest in cooperation aimed at providing support to educational institutions facing a lack of digital equipment through the “Labdoo” platform. The Association then reached out to three schools from different parts of the country that had expressed a need for IT equipment.

The “Labdoo” platform provided the laptops and tablets, while the organization “Aktion – Leben und Lernen in Bosnien” handled the entire organization and preparation of the equipment in Germany, as well as transportation to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their role was crucial for the successful implementation of this initiative and the timely delivery of the equipment to the schools.

“Gimnazija Živinice” received 20 laptops, which will improve IT classes and enable students in the IT track to finally carry out practical exercises in line with the school curriculum. The Primary School “Jajce” Kruščica received 10 laptops and 10 tablets, intended for students from marginalized groups, including 53 Roma students and 19 students with learning and developmental difficulties. The Primary School “Prača”, which operates in a remote and infrastructurally less developed area, also received 10 laptops and 10 tablets.

The donated equipment will provide students with easier access to educational content, enhance classroom interactivity, help overcome learning barriers, strengthen inclusion, and support better integration of students into the educational process.

We are confident that this donation will contribute to the improvement of digital literacy and learning conditions, especially among students from vulnerable groups. Through this form of support, we are collectively working to create equal opportunities for education in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
