The Association “Education Builds Bosnia and Herzegovina – Jovan Divjak” continues its long-standing mission of providing support to children and young people from vulnerable categories throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina through a scholarship program.

In the past period, we have awarded a total of 8,645 annual scholarships, and in the 2026/2027 school/academic year, our goal is to jointly secure 50,000 KM for 50 new annual scholarships through this campaign with Pomozi.ba.

Our vision is clear – to enable children and young people from vulnerable categories to successfully complete their education and grow into active and responsible members of BiH society. We believe that investing in education is the most important step towards long-term community development.

In addition to scholarships, we continuously implement a number of project activities that contribute to the overall development of our users, including educational, creative and psychosocial workshops, as well as organizing summer vacations on Boračko Lake.

We would like to remind you that the Association was founded on July 28, 1994, during one of the most difficult periods for the citizens of Sarajevo, when 58 prominent intellectuals, artists, members of security structures and citizens, led by Jovan Divjak, launched an initiative that still lives on through our work today.

In order to continue this important mission and secure the necessary funds for new scholarships, we need the support of all of you. The campaign runs until October 23, 2026.
