Summer and winter vacations for children
Out of the will to provide inclusive and quality time spent, our project “Summer vacation at Boračko lake” emerged.
For more than a decade, Association “Education builds B&H” has been implementing this project, with all its user groups, but also including user groups from other associations such as association “Be my friend” from Visoko, association “Oasis” for supporting people with intellectual disabilities in Sarajevo Canton, “Drin” Institute for the Care of the mentally disabled from Fojnica, and many other friendly organizations. The camp takes place in the scout camp of the Scouts “Neretva” Konjic, and consists of fun – educational workshops, free time, participation in sports – recreational activities and a lot of socializing.
When possible, the Association also organizes winter vacations and travels. Beside Boračko lake vacation being our permanent project, up until today 4463 users travelled to 18 European countries, Canada and Uruguay.
Through multiple project activities, the Association offers travelling, student exchanges and volunteering possibilities, for its scholarship holders.
