Jasmina Sejdić graduated from the High School of Agriculture, Food, Veterinary and Service Activities, majoring in Bakery. It was not her wish, so today she is not doing the job she dreamed of. Still, she says it’s never too late.

“I didn’t want to go to bakery school. I wanted to be a hairdresser. I am sure that one day I will fulfill that wish for myself. However, it is very important to me that I finished high school. Although I was born in Germany and speak German, I do not plan to go anywhere from BiH and I still want to be a hairdresser right here. “

She had no problems during school. She hung out, studied and gained self-confidence. She loves her city and the people who live in it.

“I am a Roma woman and I am proud to say that. I never had a problem with that. My school period was unforgettable. I always tried to end up with the best possible success. My friends brightened that period for me. I love Sarajevo, I grew up and live in Dobrinja, and I think the best people here. “

Jasmina’s advice

“I want to tell everyone that it is very important, to be honest, not to be ashamed of your nation and not to hide it. We are all the same and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Go to school, it is very important to have a degree in hand. A good and secure future is not impossible, no matter how it may seem to you now.”
