On Friday, December 27, 2019, a solemn session of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo was held to mark the 70th anniversary of the University of Sarajevo.

On that occasion, awards were presented that value the general contribution to the work and development of the University of Sarajevo, as well as in the academic and scientific research contribution. By the decision of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo on the awarding of recognitions “Thanksgiving of the University of Sarajevo” and “Plaque of the University of Sarajevo”, prof. dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Rector of the University of Sarajevo, presented letters of thanks at the solemn session of the Senate, and among the winners of the “Letter of Thanks” of the University of Sarajevo was the Association “Education Builds Bosnia and Herzegovina” for contribution to the work and development of the University of Sarajevo.
